Leisk Hydraulics is a family-owned Indigenous business with a respected reputation for providing high-quality plumbing and gas services to Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Mining sectors across Australia.

Robert (Bob) Leisk founded R.P. Leisk in 1964 providing plumbing services in Perth, Western Australia. The Leisk name became synonymous with high-quality workmanship and an uncompromising work ethic in the plumbing field. Almost 60 years later, the company continues within the family under the leadership of Mark Leisk and his son, Matt Leisk, under the rebranded Leisk Hydraulics name in 2022.

Our current focus is on providing exceptional Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Mining Plumbing and Gas services. Our workforce is centered around the Perth metropolitan and WA’s Mid West region (Mount Magnet, Cue, Meekatharra, Sandstone, etc.) but have delivered contracts across Australia for over 30 years and internationally in the Asia Pacific for the last 15 years. While our scale of operations has certainly grown from our humble beginnings, our underlying commitment to excellence for our customers remains unchanged.

Key Personnel

Leisk Hydraulics has a core team of experienced staff and can expand their project capacity through their established network of subcontractors that have undergone our stringent prequalification requirements. Mark Leisk and Matt Leisk are the driving force behind Leisk Hydraulics.

Mark Leisk

Director

Mark started as an apprentice under his late father Bob at the young age of 14. Since then he has gained decades of experience in the Plumbing and Gas industry, working on projects of all sizes over the last 40+ years. Highlights include service delivery for the 5-star Westin Hotel in Perth, and the Australian Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Mark took on leadership of the company in 2004, and has overseen the success of the company despite the many challenges of the industry, with significant growth in provisions to the Mid West WA sector in recent years.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and getting out onto the golf course.

Matt Leisk

Director

Matt is a licenced plumbing and gas fitter, joining the Leisk Hydraulics team as an apprentice back in 2014. Throughout his career, he has worked in different fields of plumbing in gas including medical, commercial, mining and domestic. In addition to his plumbing duties, he takes the lead on project communications and opportunity engagement.

He has enjoyed working alongside his family and team and stepped up as a director in 2021. He led the rebrand to Leisk Hydraulics in 2022 moving the company into it’s next phase.

When he’s not on the tools, Matt loves spending time with family and friends, riding motorbikes and supporting his favourite footy team, the Fremantle Dockers.
